The Challenge
Data privacy is paramount, but most people scroll past software terms and conditions assuming they're not worth concern. IBM needed to demonstrate Watson's real-world value in a way that felt personal, immediate, and relevant—turning abstract AI capabilities into a tangible experience.
The Approach
We combined Watson's visual recognition, natural language processing, and machine learning into a personalized, interactive demonstration. The system analyzes thousands of pages of T&Cs from popular apps in real time, extracting privacy-related data, identifying potential risks, and suggesting protective measures—all while the audience watches.
The Outcome
Launched at IBM's Think symposium and toured 7 additional technology and commerce conferences globally. The experience demonstrated Watson's ability to locate significant anomalies within lengthy, complex documents—illustrating how AI can mitigate business risk by uncovering previously overlooked vulnerabilities in digital agreements.
